Who knew “We go together” would turn into Happily Ever After?
Dennis and Taylor’s story began in the 7th grade at David Ellis Academy. What started as a middle school romance quickly blossomed into something special — they were boyfriend and girlfriend through 7th and 8th grade. Although life led them to different high schools and they lost touch for a bit, fate had other plans.
In 10th or 11th grade, Dennis and Taylor found their way back to one another and rekindled their friendship. Over time, that friendship deepened, and they became best friends — a bond that carried them through high school, college, and into adulthood.
Through the years, they supported one another through milestones, heartbreaks, achievements, and all the moments in between. After 16 years of unwavering friendship, they decided to take a leap of faith and explore something more. In August 2021, they began dating, and on March 9, 2022, Dennis made their relationship official.
Their love has only grown stronger since.
On November 16, 2024, Dennis got down on one knee and asked Taylor to spend forever with him — and she said yes! Now, these two best friends turned soulmates are excited to begin their journey to forever, hand in hand.
