Our Wedding

Who knew “We go together” would turn into Happily Ever After? Dennis and Taylor’s story began in the 7th grade at David Ellis Academy. What started as a middle school romance quickly blossomed into something special — they were boyfriend and girlfriend through 7th and 8th grade. Although life led them to different high schools and they lost touch for a bit, fate had other plans. In 10th or 11th grade, Dennis and Taylor found their way back to one another and rekindled their friendship. Over time, that friendship deepened, and they became best friends — a bond that carried them through high school, college, and into adulthood. Through the years, they supported one another through milestones, heartbreaks, achievements, and all the moments in between. After 16 years of unwavering friendship, they decided to take a leap of faith and explore something more. In August 2021, they began dating, and on March 9, 2022, Dennis made their relationship official. Their love has only grown stronger since. On November 16, 2024, Dennis got down on one knee and asked Taylor to spend forever with him — and she said yes! Now, these two best friends turned soulmates are excited to begin their journey to forever, hand in hand.

WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE?

Please plan your schedule as best suits you. Since our wedding events span Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, we recommend arriving by early Friday afternoon and departing on Sunday afternoon.

WHERE SHOULD I STAY?

We have secured room blocks from Friday through Sunday, which you can find on our Travel page. Of course, you’re also welcome to choose any nearby hotel or Airbnb that suits you best.

HOW DO I GET AROUND?

Please note that our wedding is taking place in Coral Gables, which is located about 20–25 minutes from Miami (approximately 7 miles from Downtown). If you plan to explore the area beyond Coral Gables or venture into Miami and surrounding neighborhoods, we highly recommend renting a car. While Uber and Lyft are readily available, having your own vehicle will make it easier to explore at your own pace especially for day trips or beach visits!

Does my invitation include an additional guest?

As much as we’d love to celebrate with everyone, we’re keeping the guest list limited and unfortunately can’t accommodate additional guests. If you received a plus one, it will appear on your invite and on your RSVP.

Are children invited to the wedding?

To keep the event intimate, we are hosting an adults-only celebration. Thank you for respecting our wishes.

WHAT SHOULD I DO WHILE I’M IN MIAMI/CORAL GABLES?

We hope that we will keep you sufficiently entertained, but we do encourage you make the most out of your time otherwise! There is a large variety of things to do around Miami/Coral Gables. We have included some places: In Coral Gables (Walking or Short Ride)-Miracle Mile-Giralda Plaza-Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden-Coral Gables Museum-Lowe Art Museum In Greater Miami (15–30 mins away)-South Beach-Wynwood Walls-Little Havana-Vizcaya, Museum &amp; Gardens-Design District-Brickell-Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM)
